How to prepare for auction day
1.
Download Catalog
Make sure to take a look at the catalog to pinpoint any items that you may want to bid on during the auction.
2.
Preview
When a preview is offered we strongly encourage bidders to attend and personally inspect and evaluate the item(s) prior to placing any bids.
3.
Due Diligence
If the sale is for real estate, make sure to download a bidder’s packet and research any outstanding liens by searching the county website where the property is located. Also, secure either the cash or a certified check made out to yourself for the stated deposit amount.
4.
Determine Your Budget
This may sound obvious, but it’s essential to decide how much you are willing to bid before the excitement takes over.
What to expect on auction day
Auction day is FUN! We are here to make sure that in the midst of the excitement and anticipation, you are also prepared.
1. ARRIVE EARLY
We recommend arriving 30-45 minutes prior to auction if possible, so you can preview permitted items and get situated.
2. REGISTER & ASK QUESTIONS
Have your ID and deposit (if applicable) ready and we will walk you through the simple registration process. Be sure to ask any questions before the auction begins.
3. START BIDDING!
When the item you are interested in comes up for bid, simply raise your number to place a bid. As the auctioneer increases the bids, you may continue to bid as long as you are confident with the price.
